Globalview for Peace and Development experienced a week with the Al- Mahra people.
First, Globalview President, Eng. Bader Basalma met the Deputy Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate for Technical Affairs, Eng. Salem Mohammad Al-Aboudi, together with Mr. Ahmed Saeed Balhaf, Executive Director of Fund Human Development, and Mr. Saad Qumairi, Head of Education Department at Al- Mahra Governorate to discuss the potential of the foundation to carry development projects at Al-Mahra Governorate on Wednesday Apr. 18th 2018.
Eng. Al-Aboudi pointed to the necessity of training courses on communication with donor organizations that will assist in the rehabilitation of young people and create job opportunities for productive families through the mechanism of commercialization.
“In fact, the Fund of Human Development at the governorate of Al-Mahra have deficiencies in communication process with organizations,” Eng. Al-Aboudi said.
He stressed on the importance of establishing a comprehensive database for Al-Mahra Governorate. He also stressed on the importance of the cooperation between the local authority of Al-Mahra Governorate and Globalview for Peace and Development to promote development skilled side in the Governorate of Al-Mahra.
By his side, Eng. Bader Basalma, CEO of Globalview for Peace and Development, stated that Globalview will contribute significantly up in promoting development side at the Governorate of Al-Mahra. He also determined a date to visit Al-Mahra to see what development activities that Al-Mahra needs.
During the meeting, Eng. Basalma presented most prominent development projects and activities carried out by Globalview for Peace and Development, which contribute to the creation of job opportunities for poor families and the rehabilitation of young people that can be reversed and applied at Al-Mahra Governorate.
Then, Chief Executive Officer of Globalview for Peace and Development, Eng. Bader Basalma, attended the graduation ceremony of 34 students of Al- Mahra Governorate who study at the institutes and universities of Hadramout Governorate, on Wednesday Apr. 18th 2018.
The invitation was presented by the Deputy Governor of Al- Mahra Governorate for Technical Affairs, Eng. Salem Mohammed Al-Aboudi who attended the ceremony with Eng. Basalma.
At the ceremony which was held under the patronage of His Excellency, Sheikh Rajeh Said Bakrit, governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, Eng. Al-Aboudi stressed on the students to be partners with the authority in moving development and advancement wheel in their governorate. He promised the students that there will be contracted with graduates of this year, 2018, according to their specialization.
“This is a direction of the Governor of Al- Mahra Governorate that the Mehri graduates of the year 2018 will have contracts according to their specializations,” Eng. Al-Aboudi said.
Eng. Al-Aboudi also stated that the local authority of Al- Mahra Governorate will covered all costs of those who wish to continue to master or doctorate in Yemen or abroad.
At the end of his speech, Eng. Al-Aboudi carried for all greetings of the governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, Sheikh Rajeh Said Bakrit, who could not attend the ceremony.
The Deputy Governor of Hadramout Governorate for Youth Affairs, Mr. Fahmi Badawi, expressed his happiness about the number of Mehri graduates from the universities and institutes of Hadramout Governorate. He noted that Al-Mahra Governorate took turn in evolution and development through the graduation of this number of students from different majors, praising the Mehri Students Forum President, Mr. Mustafa bin Rabia’ on his efforts to serve fellow students.
The ceremony included several songs, popular dance and honoring the students and graduates.
At the ceremony, Globalview President, Eng. Bader Basalma, received a trophy from the Mahra students as a respect and gratitude.
